“Ctrl: Z. Russian Voices” examines the impact of the Ukraine war on the everyday lives of people in a small Russian town. It has sold to broadcaster across Europe, including Franco-German channel Arte, TV 3 in Spain and CNN in Portugal. The documentary is among a large number of hard-hitting and hot-selling titles from Java Films.

Series Mania will feature masterclasses with Brian Cox, Lisa Joy, Cédric Klapisch and Cécile de France. Series in the international competition this year include Arte’s “Grace of Heaven”

Paris-based MPM Premium has snagged the international sales rights to French-Colombian documentary “Transfariana” The film explores the unusual collaboration between the since-disbanded Colombian guerrilla group FARC and the trans activist movement. A TV version running 1.5 hours was acquired by European culture TV channel, Arte.
