With the cash burn rate up 6.4% in the last year, it seems that the company is ratcheting up investment in the business over time. Since its cash burn is increasing ( albeit only slightly), Elementos shareholders should still be mindful of the possibility it will require more cash in the future.

Insiders bought AU$318k worth of Elementos Limited (ASX:ELT) stock in the last year. The purchase, however, has proven to be a pricey bet, with losses currently totalling AU$68k. The biggest insider purchase was by Non-Executive Chairman Andrew Greig for AU$191k. While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. In our view, the price an insider pays for shares is very important.
