Oleg Tsaryov, a pro-Russian figure reportedly tasked to lead Kyiv after Russia’s invasion, was shot and wounded in a late-night attack. Ukrainians maintain a website called Myrotvorets (‘Peacemaker’), a vast ‘unofficial’ (but sanctioned) database of people considered to be enemies of the country. To be listed there as a ‘traitor to the motherland’ is to be marked for potential assassination.

Myrotvorets (Peacemaker) is a Ukrainian website that publishes a running list (and sometimes personal information) of people whom the authors consider to be enemies of Ukraine. Mariya Gabriel, the Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, has held a telephone conversation with Olesia Ilashchuk, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Bulgaria. Gabriel said during the conversation that the information about "the inclusion of Bulgarian citizens in the databases of persons identified as Ukraine’s enemies causes surprise and concern"
